As of today, there are over 6,800 people groups without access to the gospel (unreached). That means that almost half of the world’s population has never heard the name of Jesus.
That is not ok.
God is very clear in His call for what our lives as believers are to be about and characterized by.
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
We are to be disciple makers. And we are called to make those disciples all over the world.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8
This call was not just given to the church in Acts, but to every believer. The gospel has not reached the ends of the earth because there are over 3 billion people who don’t even know that Christ died for their sins.
We are talking about the nations because it is God’s heart that they know His saving truth.
We are talking about the nations because, “We are the plan of God, and there is no plan B (David Platt, Radical, pg. 156).”
We are talking about the nations because teen girls are not exempt from the charge.
God does not give the call to share the gospel only to those who have graduated from high school. It is the call of every believer, at every age.
The beautiful picture that God has created is that you become a disciple. His gospel within you begins to change every part of your life. His Spirit in your life works through you that others might also become disciples.
Parents, God’s will for your daughter is to share the gospel to the ends of the earth.
Leaders/girls’ ministers, God’s will is for the girls you lead to share the gospel to the ends of the earth. Ladies, God’s will is for you to share the gospel to the ends of the earth.
What is the Lord asking of you?
Maybe God’s call is for you to go to an area where no one has been before. His call is also for you to go next door.
What are we waiting for? - Becca
