Crafts + Conversation: Things to do with Mugs

Hey everyone! Happy Thursday!

It may not feel like fall (if you live in the South) just yet, but it's time to start wearing your boots and cardigans and pretend it feels like fall. It's time for PSLs (Pumpkin Spice Lattes) and Apple Cider. What's better than drinking your favorite seasonal drinks out of a cute mug?

Today we're bringing you a Craft + Conversation idea that's built for a smaller group. Maybe like a weekend party. Click the pics for the DIY instructions!

The Glitter Mug

Obviously, this one is my favorite because I LOVE glitter gold. Get your Modge Podge and your painters tape. This is a super easy, but messy DIY.

The Dipped Mug

These dipped mugs are making my heart swoon! So many different color options. Can you imagine a metallic gold painted one?? That's the one I'm going to make.

The Leaf Stenciled Mug

Now, this one is going to take a steady hand and a little more work. Worth it though, right?

The Enamel Sharpie Mug

For these little cuties you'll have to buy special enamel mugs, but don't they automatically give the campfire feel? #worthit.

Gilded Gold Mug

Alright, last gold painted mug. Can you tell that I have a slight gold obsession?

Throw a Mug Party and you and all of your small group girls, friends from school, or girls on your hall will have the cutest mugs ever.

While you guys are painting and glittering, casually chat about this: what does it mean to be a witness? In Acts 1:8 it tells us that we are God's witnesses. How can we be effective witnesses? I think that one of the best ways we can be effective witnesses is through how react to things, especially unfortunate situations when we don't get our way. Our circumstances don't define who we are. What are some other ways that we can be effective witnesses?

Is there a specific situation or circumstance that you struggle in?
What are your actions revealing about your heart? Proverbs 4:23 tell us to, "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
What areas have you seen the Lord growing you in?
How can you depend on the Lord in moments like these?

Happy Crafts + Conversations! We hope that all of you take intentional time to spend with other girls crafting and talking. Let us know how it goes!
